* In 2013 Dennis was honored by the NACD and the Dallas Business Journal as one of 12 Outstanding Directors in North Texas (the inaugural year of the award).
2011: Dennis was interim CEO and Managing Member of a privately held early-stage cutting-edge cybersecurity software firm.
2009-10: Dennis was interim CEO of a privately held early-stage financial services software-as-a-service (SaaS) firm.
2006: Dennis moved to the Dallas area when he stepped in from the board to become Chairman & CEO of a publicly-traded provider of integrated distance learning solutions.
2000: Dennis was the founder, chairman, and CEO of a private venture investment firm and incubator, investing in nearly 40 early-stage technology companies.
Dennis is an instructor at SMU Cox School of Business BLC and is on several corporate boards of directors - public and private. He attended UCLA (majored in economics). He has an honorable discharge from the USMC ('65-'71) and lives with his wife Angelia in Carrollton, TX.
