I started my career at Leo Burnett advertising where I serviced Procter & Gamble Accounts. I have served as national chair of the American Marketing Association (1999-2000) with 40,000 members which gives me a strong background in non-profits. I have been a senior administrator (Dean and Assistant Dean) in the University of Hawaii system and have taught management and marketing at the undergraduate and graduate levels. My MBA is in marketing and management from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and my undergraduate degree is in advertising from the Medill Schoool of Journalism, also at Northwestern.
