Experience: For three decades, Dr. Golden has owned and managed a management consulting, training, and coaching services business. Carrying on the legacy started by his father and mother in the 1970s, his clients have included Fortune 500 companies, mid- and small-sized individual, family, and partner owned businesses, as well as non-profit, educational, religious, government, and military organizations. His experience has included both long and short term assignments that encompass consulting and training and that are focused on sustained individual, team, and organizational improvement and excellence. His professional activities include training and certifying professional coaches, human services, business, and educational professionals in the proper use of his proprietary line of assessment tools.
Expertise: Dr. Golden’s areas of specialty include assessment for development and selection; strategic planning; organizational development; team, management, and leadership development; career and educational planning and counseling; human resource management; and personal ethics. Over the past three decades, he has applied these competencies to his growing practice as a professional leadership and career coach. He devotes much of his time to the ongoing organization consulting, training, assessment research and development, and assessment certification training programs centered on clients around the world using his assessments.
Education: Dr. Golden earned a B.A. in Psychology from Fairleigh Dickinson University and an M.S in Human Resource Management from Widener University School of Business Administration. He earned an Ed.D. in Leadership in Higher Education from Widener University.
Dr. John Golden is a former professor of management in the Lutgert College of Business at Florida Gulf Coast University where he specialized in teaching business, ethics, and leadership, as well as team, management, and organization development and organizational change.
