In addition to my work at Ignited Fundraising, I am currently a member of the strategy and training team at ArtsLab a 2-year capacity building program designed to strengthen the impact of arts organizations in urban & rural communities.
From 2001 - 2006 I was a senior instructor with Raising More Money, (now Benevon) and traveled the country extensively delivering two-day workshops, shorter introductory sessions and speeches at conferences and events.
For more than a decade I have assisted the organizations and individuals I've worked with to collectively raise $300 million from individual donors.
The sweet spot of my work is to help organizations powerfully share the impact of their mission through engaging stories. I also help organizations articulate and clarify what is missing from their current pool of resources. My work helps staff and boards to create real fundraising solutions that focus on ease, productivity and accountability.
I have presented at hundreds of events and conferences and delivered breakout sessions both locally and nationally.
I have a degree in political science and speech-communications from the University of Minnesota. In 1990 I participated in a week-long training with Indiana University Fundraising School.
